Deskripsi Proyek

The facade of this building showcases Modern Contemporary architecture with a Tropical Industrial approach. The primary character of the building is defined by the repetitive use of woven rattan panels with a 3D geometric pattern, serving as a functional secondary skin. This organic material provides a rich texture over exposed concrete walls (cement wash) and massive black steel framing. The use of transparent glass on the ground floor creates an inviting, open feel, while linear LED lighting at night accentuates the horizontal lines and woven textures, resulting in a dramatic and elegant appearance.

Konsep Desain

This concept merges the precision of industrial structures with the softness of local handcrafted artistry.

• A Breathing Secondary Skin: The woven rattan panels are more than just aesthetic; they function as a sun shader and allow for natural air circulation, keeping the building's temperature cool in a tropical climate.

• Textural Balance (Raw vs. Craft): The design pits the rawness of cement and iron against the intricate texture of the weave. This contrast creates visual depth, making the building a standout landmark in an urban environment.

• Repetitive Geometry: The 3D pyramid patterns on the facade panels create a consistent visual rhythm. These patterns catch shadows differently throughout the day, giving the building a dynamic and ever-changing look.

• Architectural Light Integration: LED lights are discreetly installed under balconies and along panel lines to create a "floating" effect for the structure after dark, while simultaneously highlighting the craftsmanship of the weave as the primary focal point.
